These 5 and 10 day courses will enable you to get some serious meterage done in our school of excellence. You will complete ceiling and walls using all Marmorino Carraras and Classic finishes. There are no hidden strings just endless amounts of area. You will have Internals External angles windows piers columns everything you will find in the normal domestic household. We have dedicated teachers to guide you through this very intensive course. Seeing is believing in what you can and will achieve. We take great pride and have endless amounts of experience, knowledge,using the best products.

Our products are brought in from Italy, Fine and Course grain in order for you to get a perfect finish. Our waxes are waterproof, of high concentrate, we carry a Zero rating fire certificate with all our products which not many suppliers are aware of under UK Law.

You will be using many colours whilst on course. Starting from priming to first day base coats. Our primer can be 1st coat basecoat within 30 minutes.

Week 1 (ceiling and walls)

All areas will have a first day base coat with all off set angles thrown in. Second Day apply all second coats. Third day apply final coat. Fourth day apply first coat and second wax. Fifth day apply water proof coat.

On completion of the course you will see just how well five hard days have developed your skills by having the best training supplied and delivered in a professional facility.

 

Week 2

You will be given assignments during this second week which will be carefully monitored and recorded accordingly..We have curved walls, arches,columns to blend in with your second week.  We will also video, photograph and document all your finishes and assist you in building your portfolio. On completion of your 10 Day venetian plastering course you will have your portfolio of all features and finishes achieved on course. Followed by group discussion, clarificaton and way forward by using the best products on offer. On completion of the course you will see just how 10 hard days have developed your skills by having the best training supplied and delivered in a professional facility.

From Venetian Marble, Intonichino drag effect finishes, Metallic, Travertine, Dilavato, Stenciling,Velvet and many more. It's not just assignments but full on meterage,taking this course to a different level.

  • What is Polished Plaster , Stucco Plaster?

Polished Plaster is a smooth shiny plaster made from Lime putty and Carrara marble powders. It is a natural Lime based plaster that requires a specialist application.

  • Where does Polished Plaster, Stucco come from?

The Polished Plaster that Goldtrowel supplies comes from Stucco Italiano in Italy. This is now a global brand supplying Polished Finishes to homes and businesses all over the world.

  • Why are there different terms for Polished Plasters?

Many refer to it as Marmorino, Venetian Plaster, Stucco, Lucidato, Spatulata, Veneziano plus others. These terms can mean the same style of product or something very different depending on how companies brand their product. Always request a sample to ensure you know which Polished Plaster you are getting.

  •  What do Polished Plasters look like?

The finest Polished Plaster ( Classic Marmorino ) is very smooth and cold to the touch. It has a reflective sheen.

The textures vary greatly depending on the product and style you require. Our Carrara Marmorino has a matt like shine while the Intonachino and Dilavato have textured surfaces. The Chamois / Velvet Marmorino is truly unique with a gentle soft sheen while being very fine in texture.

  • What colours can you provide?

We have a standard colour range and can custom colour the products.

  •  Where can I use Polished Plasters?

Polished Plaster works well in both domestic and commercial settings. In domestic setting we use our finishes on feature walls, bathrooms and kitchens. In commercial projects we use them in boardrooms, reception areas, restaurants, bars and hotels.

  • Can you apply Polished Plaster to my Ceilings Walls and Bathrooms?

We can apply the Venetian Marble Polished Plaster, Stucco on most Bathrooms, Walls and Ceilings. However, all traces of wall paper need to be removed.  

How long will Polished Plaster Last?

In Italy there are many examples of Marmorino on the exterior of the buildings. Therefore in modern buildings if the substrate is suitable the finish should out live the applicator.
