We have been awarded as a 'Centre of Excellence' and hold a coveted Self Certificating Approval. Our centre of excellence title was given to us because of our exceptional trowel trades construction courses and having a qualified team for assessments in NVQ levels 1, 2 and Level 3.

Goldtrowel has a proud 20+ year history of training, assessing and certificating learners for fully accredited NVQs and City & Guilds qualifications in the construction industries. We are based conveniently in Stapleford Abbotts just outside Romford Essex, it's 5 minutes from Junction 28 of the M25. Our training centre can provide flexible, specialised and tailored training solutions for individuals or companies alike, allowing us to cater for individual needs.

Goldtrowel Academy has a wealth of expeierence employing the most qualified specialist instructors to teach our students, developing them into future professionals in their specifc trade. We have an unmattched success rate due to our dedicated instructors making it their priority to get the very best out of our students and catering to their needs. Our succesful students go on to developing their craft working self employed, in a construction company or freelance under an agency.
We will be releasing case study interviews with our succesful students in 2024, as they share their experiences from training with us and how they have used these skills in the professional world.

Do you have dedicated rooms/bays?The training centre is purpose built with life size rooms (bays) not broom cupboards, some walls measuring 5.5 metres long. Maybe you have a specific requirement ie, your a chippie working with loft conversions? Then we have curved barrel ceilings for you.

Can we really teach you to plaster in such short time?Yes, we teach you the fundamental skills to plaster to a good standard, however plastering is an artform that takes years to master but your journey starts here at Goldtrowel Academy.

Do you cater for all skill levels?Yes, we take on students with 0 experience all the way through to time served tradesmen with 20+ experience who may be interested in a 1 day Experienced Workers Practical Assessment. We have a qualified team of instructors who have many years of experience in their specific trade to train you to a standard for Assessments in NVQ levels 2 and City & Guilds.
